Argen Ltd. was established in 1990 and started to act as a local agent for oil companies and/or their contractors operating in Turkey under oil law. Our team has a considerable experience in offshore projects as well as onshore.

According to petroleum law in Turkey; all equipment including rigs, barges,seismic and supply vessels, helicopters, aeroplanes and the contents have to be imported in and exported after the operation. Local operation permissions from Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Interior, Undersecretariat of Maritime; Navy and General Staff  have to be obtained due to the contract for being  able to operate and import the rig and vessels to Turkey.

Such outlined services have to be performed by a local agent with a power of attorney granted to them by the oil company and/or the contractor.

Because of the role of marine related services in all offshore projects; we prefer to work in coordination with an efficient boat agent having good set-ups in İstanbul, Karadeniz Ereğli, Sinop, Samsun, Trabzon, Mediterranean ( Mersin port, Iskenderun port and Antalya port )and all other ports and which is familiar with oil law (Sea Bed Coring, Seismic, Electromagnetic  and Drilling operations). We can coordinate  vessel passes, port calls, crew changes, food and spare supplies  with them during the operations. Our experiences in the past have shown that such a collaborative work under our control and coordination has extremely helped running of complex operations in success.

We have provided similar services for EXXONMOBIL, TPAO, Petrobras Oil & Gas B.V. Turkey, BP, Toreador Turkey Ltd., and  also for their offshore contractors. Attached is precise information on our clients and their letters of references.
